Build Black is a team and program dedicated to empowering Black entrepreneurs and businesses. In October of 2022, Shopify launched an online streaming event to raise awareness and showcase different entrepreneurs in the Black community who were using Shopify to sell their products. I was tasked with creating an animated introduction for the event.
To create the introduction for the Build Black online streaming event, I first designed a set of styleframes that followed the internal brand guidelines. Once I had the designs, I added them to a timeline with the given soundtrack to ensure proper timing of the animation. The goal was to keep the intro short and within 10 seconds.
