The talented team at I AM STATIC invited me to collaborate on a project for Mount Sinai Hospital, commemorating its 100th anniversary. As part of the campaign, we created a 30-second spot for TV and various media platforms to encourage donations and celebrate a century of care and discoveries. Below is the studio version of the spot:
I was brought into the project to animate and finalize some of the designs that Julia Deakin proposed during the pitch for this campaign. From the outset, I was excited that the project required the use of collage, which aligns with my personal style. Under Julia's direction, I created these animated sequences that were included in the final spot.

To animate certain parts, Duik was handy for bringing some characters in the spot to life. I also created rigs with expressions to maintain consistency in the animation, while also providing flexibility to the After Effects compositions. This was key since one of the challenges was the possibility of recreating the spot in different formats such as 1x1, 16x9, and even 9x16.
The "Mnemonic"
The final sequence of the spot was intended to showcase a collection of images that depicted some key moments in the history of Mount Sinai Hospital. The idea was to arrange these images in chronological order, starting from the hospital's inception to one of its most memorable moments—the birth of the world's most premature twins. Creating this sequence presented an interesting challenge since I had to ensure the compositions could adapt to any size requested by the client. To solve this, I made a rig to crop all the compositions simultaneously to the desired size. In the end, we only needed to prepare it for the 1x1 and 16x9 formats.
